I’ve learned so much in such a short time. Thank you to college friends, Kathy, Tina and Julie for their love and support last week as it wasn’t easy. Navigating new meds, side effects, pain and fatigue was daunting. I feel much more prepared for the next round. In many ways I’m looking at this as a pregnancy: the outcome won’t be a beautiful baby, but the blessing of remission! Let me explain: The side effects include extreme fluctuations in body temperature, my taste and smell sensations change- sometimes several times per day, my abdomin is a bit swollen, plus I’m tired, achy and having difficulty sleeping. That sounds pretty familiar to many moms😊.
I will have between 3-6 chemo treatments prior to surgery. PLEASE PRAY for the number 3. Although I will do whatever it takes- the less suffering the better. I spent a cozy snow day indoors, rocking to my favorite Christian tunes. Stay safe everyone.

Love you sweet friend!
My heart sank when I read your post on Facebook. I logged on to share the news that my brother received awesome news as he is battling Stage Four Lung Cancer. His tumor shrunk and is not spreading. SO......that means Cancer can be beat and you got this beautiful gal. It’s not an easy battle but you have the strength, love and so much support from those of us near and far. You have always been in our thoughts as you made our moving away to California so special for John but you are now in our thoughts and prayers continuously. For the record, my Dad is a Colon Cancer Survivor and at the end of your journey/treatment you will…
We are all with you more than 1,000,000%! I'm there in a minute (well 3 hours) whenever you need. You are on my heart, in my prayers and part of thoughts countless times every day. You never journey alone. We are with you. God is with you. I love you (from the very first second of my being)! <JO><
The new cut accents your smile and glowing cheek bones...sending love, hugs, and wishing you a comfortable day. Tammie
Hey beautiful! Praying for you daily and sending lit’s of love! I can be Robbie's backup next week if anything happens that she can’t drive you. Would love to help in any way needed! ❤️❤️❤️
